My favorite place to come after morning classes with my friends or a weekend brunch with the family. I love the old school diner vibe. The food has never failed to be spectacular and the staff are supurb. A hidden gem!

I absolutely loved this place. It's a well hidden gem. Good food and the friendliest servers. Y'all should definitely seek it out.

Usually the place is real good. Our usual waitress wasn’t there. But this time it was pretty bad. The floors were so dirty and the waitress had a huge open sore on her hand handling our plates made me loose appetite for sure I don’t think I’ll go back there. Not to mention she smelled like a pack of cigarettes and the coffee lady had rotting teeth not something you want to see while eating.

Great food, great servers and very cheap. Worth the visit!

This was a very nice surprise. I had a great breakfast and must advise you to stop by if you are in the area and want to have a home cooked meal. Whether you are by yourself, with friends or family. This cafe is hidden in an office building, I've passed about a billion times.Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. I will definitely be going back. The only downside? They close by 3pm. So get in before and enjoy!!!

Been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience here. Food is always hot and what can you say about an owner who higher elderly women. I don't know him and most men love that young pretty waitress but this guy has my respect for not doing this and these women kick butt. There Always talkative and give you friendly service. I dine out everyday of the week and have picked up something because of this. One of my biggest complaints is warm to Luke warm food and one of the reasons the food is always hot is the ladys here support each other. Your food will not set at a window or prep table getting cold because one of them will bring it to you. Unless a restaurant has this kind of support it a miss and hit that your food will be hot.

FAST, CONVENIENT THE FOOD IS GOOD AND THE STAFF ARE SWEET. IT'S JUST OFF OF TAFT IN A OFFICE BUILDING.

It's a quaint, lived-in little restaurant which is located in an office building so if you blink, you could miss it. Just follow the sign and the people. I've only ever had breakfast here but they have excellent waffles and omelettes. The coffee isn't so great, but it's basically just your average American breakfast and lunch diner. The people who work there are very nice.

Joe is the owner/receptionist, great guy. Superb wait staff, food, good coffee. Nice neighborhood joint.

This meal was excellent. Quick service, everyone was really nice and the food was great. I had a ham and cheese omelette with home fries. Reminded me of a home cooked meal.

This place been around for years home cook food. My mom use to go here rest her soul and i still do. Really great place

Really friendly service and great quality food. We usually go to chain places for breakfast but the prices keep going up and the quality does the opposite. We happened across this place and it truly is a hidden gem. The omelettes are very filling and they are very reasonably priced. My husband and I spent $20 for breakfast and that is including drinks. We are low to no carb and they accommodated us on everything. This is our new go to spot. The prices and quality just can't be beat and the servers are very friendly. Its a homey place. Give it a try even if its a challenge to find it ;-)

I love this place! all the locals know each other. It’s like a huge family gathering up having breakfast and lunch. I do have a favorite waitress! I love them all but Val is amazing! The owner is so kind and always ask how we are doing and always made sure to tell us he would love to see us again. My family and friends I know have been enjoying amazing food for over 20 years! Stop by and enjoy some comfort food and love to go with it :)

The food is good, good value, the waitresses and staff are great. They are friendly and attentive to your needs. Everyone should come and eat here if they want a good, filling meal for a reasonable price.

My team and I recently filmed a movie here at Taft St. Cafe in Aug. 2019. The owner Joe was so kind and provided us so much help and hospitality by letting us use his restaurant for 3 days to film the movie. Two of the staff, Valerie & Gail were also really nice to use while there and stayed after hours to watch the place. Joe allowed our film crew to use the restaurant after closing hours and even stayed during the long hours of filming to assist us in anything we needed. He and his team cooked for the whole crew while there, and the food was GREAT! I hadn't previously heard of TSC before, but now that I'm aware of it, the food, and how hospitable the Owner and staff are, this place has my highest recommendation!

Awesome place! The food was delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced. The service was extraordinary. Very fast and friendly. We were greated by 5 servers! Everyone one them said hello as we entered the restaurant.We are here on vacation, and found the place by accident. This type of place makes me wish I lived here! Can't recommend it enough!

Lovely little place, very cozy and clean. Cleary a favorite with the locals, seems to be the place they meet on the weekend to catch up. A little difficult to find, it's in the back of the second of 2 office buildings. Greeted at the door by the owner who obviously takes pride in his establishment. Bright and happy wait staff, one that has been here 18 years! Food is standard breakfast and lunch fare, came out hot and delicious. Definitely worth the stop.

You would never know this restaurant is here unless you know it's there. It does get busy but I think because of the location it's more locals and regular people that come in here. The food is similarly priced to ihop or Denny's but better quality. Everything is cooked to order made fresh the staff is friendly and helpful and it's a great place to have lunch or breakfast. I think they serve both all day long. Not much else to say it's got a hometown vibe at the Taft Street Cafe.

Was my 1st time there.. Always saw the sign but never went in.. Best kept secret .. They were busy (ALL the tables were full) Knew it might be a little bit of wait but it was worth it.. Had an awesome breakfast .the waitress was friendly also

Cute small cafe in a commercial building complex. Nothing fancy, just going homestyle breakfast & lunch items. The wait staff is very friendly h lots of fun to talk to. Great place.
